A celebration of Constable Chris Garrett will be held next month in Cobourg.
Garrett was killed May 15, 2004 after responding to a 911 call of a reported robbery victim.
Garrett, who grew up in Odessa, attended Loyalist College in Belleville from 1983-1985 where he was a Dean’s List student in the Law and Security course.
A community celebration will be held at Chris Garrett Memorial Park on May 15 to celebrate his life and sacrifice.
