The Wellington Dukes slipped past the Pickering Panthers 4-3 in overtime on Friday night.
Austin Montgomery-Parsons, Ethan Quick, Connor Hunt, and Ryan Schaap scored for the Dukes.
The Panthers got onto a hot streak in the first period, racking up three unanswered goals before sliding into a scoreless second for both teams. Once the third period began, so did the Dukes’ comeback, grabbing three goals of their own to tie the game, and take the teams to overtime, where a fourth and final goal from the Dukes sealed the deal.
The Dukes are on the road today to face the Aurora Tigers.
