Loyalist College is expanding its medical courses with a new Medical Radiation Technology program.
The course is planned to help address a shortfall of skilled medical radiation technologists in the Quinte region and was developed in response to needs brought forward by Quinte Health.
Students in the course will learn skills in both technical imaging and patient care.
The first students in the program will begin in fall 2024. The program will cover six semesters of courses in two years.
