The Nicholson Crusaders and Centennial Chargers were decisive winners to open their respective Ontario High School Girls Basketball championships.
In the OFSAA A tournament in Belleville the sixth ranked Crusaders clobbered St. Thomas Aquinas from Kenora 56-14.
Nicholson plays 11th seed Ursula Franklin Academy of Toronto this morning (Friday) at 10:45 at Nicholson.
The Girls AA Basketball championship is in Guelph where the fourth seed Centennial Chargers ran over Holy Trinity 51-17. Centennial plays 13th ranked St. Theresa from Simcoe at 12:30 this afternoon (Friday).
