The Quinte area will be home to 18 Girls’ High School Basketball teams for the next few days as the Nicholson Catholic College Crusaders host the Ontario High School (OFSAA) A championship.
It starts Thursday morning with games at Nicholson, St. Theresa and Loyalist College. The tournament runs through Saturday.
The Crusaders are ranked sixth in the championship. Their first game is Thursday morning at 10:45 against 16th ranked St. Thomas Aquinas High School from Kenora. That game will be played at 10:45 at St. Theresa Secondary.
The team to beat is Woodland Christian High School in Breslau which is near Waterloo.
