An arrest has been made in a hit and run collision Friday night on 2nd Dug Hill Road in Trenton.
Two girls were walking towards Wal-Mart in the area of the Trenton Christian School, south of Highway 2, when one of them, a 14-year-old, was hit by a vehicle.
The driver reportedly fled the scene.
The girl was seriously injured and rushed to Trenton Memorial and then on Sick Kids in Toronto.
A family member says the other girl, a 12-year-old administered C.P.R. on her lifelong friend until officers arrived on scene.
Quinte West OPP say on Saturday officers arrested 51-year-old Dean Potter of Quinte West and charged him with failure to stop at an accident, resulting in bodily harm.
He was released from custody and has a court date of December 14th.
