Lennox and Addington OPP and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating two suspicious early morning fires in and around Napanee Monday.
On the surface at least, they seem connected.
One was a huge fire that burned down the former arena in Napanee on York Street.
It is now known as the Lennox Agricultural Memorial Community Centre.
In the other incident fire destroyed a vehicle and a garage at a residence in Stone Mills Township.
That fire occurred at the residence of the Lennox Agricultural Society’s Secretary-Treasurer Carol McKinley.
No one was injured in either fire.
Investigators are asking anyone who lives in the area of the agricultural building and who may have home surveillance cameras or Dash camera video to upload a copy of their footage taken between 1:30 and 3:00 a.m. on October 23, 2023 using the following secure evidence submission portal:
