Although silent until needed, combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are crucial to keeping people and property safe
from fire damage.
Monday Enbridge Gas donated 246 smoke/carbon monoxide alarms to the Prince Edward County Fire and Rescue.
The local donation was part of the Safe Community Project Zero campaign.
Enbridge Gas has invested a total of $315,000 in Project Zero this year alone.
County Fire Chief Chad Brown was grateful for the Enbridge donation adding that “only working smoke and carbon monoxide alarms save lives.”
