The Wellington Dukes started a busy weekend on the right foot. After allowing the first goal it was all Dukes after that as they beat the 99ers 4-1 in Brantford on Thursday night to extend their winning streak to three games.
Wellington’s offence came from Cory Jewitt with his tenth of the season, Dimitri-Alexander Tzaferis, Ben Vreugdenhil and William Mitchell.
The Dukes outshot Brantford 39-21.
Wellington hosts the Mississauga Chargers tonight (Fri) at 7:30 at Lehigh Arena.
Wellington is in fourth place in the OJHL East just four points behind the Trenton Golden Hawks and Markham Royals.

Trenton came into the week ranked 12th in the Canadian Junior Hockey League. Markham is ranked 17th.
