Quinte West OPP have taken over the investigation of a fire that destroyed a small barn and caused minor damage to a garage and house near Wooler Wednesday.
Quinte West firefighters from Batawa and North Murray stations were called out to the fire at 422 Nichols Road just before 8 o’clock in the morning.
The barn was on fire as were the garage and attached house.
Flames were under control an hour later. There has been no information released on whether there were any injuries.
OPP detectives are handling the investigation along with the fire department.
