The 9th Annual Canal Pursuit for Mental Health Relay Run will be making a stop in Trenton as part of its run this year.
The run will go from Port Severn to Kingston and then all the way to Ottawa.
A stop will be made in Trenton to honour CFB Trenton.
Here is the schedule for the run when the group stops in the Quinte region on August 23.
- Start at Trinity Anglican Church, Frankford 8:00 a.m.
- Bain Park, RCAF Road, Trenton 10:30 a.m., stop at Bain Park
- Lions Park, Station St, Belleville 12:30 p.m.
- Springside Park, Napanee 5:30 p.m.
- End at Odessa Fire Hall, 8:00 p.m.
Mood Disorders Society of Canada is organizing the run with the hope of raising funds, bringing awareness to depression, end the stigma of mental illness, and to encourage people to reach out for help.
