A zoning by-law controls the use of land in our community, including how land may be used, where buildings and other structures can be located, types of buildings permitted and how they may be used, lot sizes and dimensions, parking requirements, building heights, and more.
Residents can review project details online at Belleville.ca/ZBLConsolidation including a draft copy of the new consolidated by-law. Residents can provide comments by emailing mtmacdonald@belleville.ca or by writing to Matt MacDonald, secretary of the Planning Advisory Committee, at 169 Front St., Belleville, K8N 2Y8. Residents can also provide feedback during the public session at the Sept. 5 meeting.
