Belleville police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an attempted break & enter at a home on Highway 37 early Monday morning.
Officers responded to the call around 2 a.m. on Monday after a female was seen attempting to enter the home through a window.
The suspect had fled the area by the time police arrived.
She is described as a female between the age of 15 and 30 years old, wearing dark boots, jeans and a light-coloured t-shirt with writing in the chest area.
Police say the female appeared to have dark coloured shoulder-length hair pulled back in a pony tail.
No photos of the suspects were provided by police.
