A body was pulled from the water at the boat launch at Victoria Park Tuesday afternoon.
The call came in just before 3 p.m. Tuesday on a report of a body in the water.
Emergency personnel, including Belleville police, Belleville Fire and Hastings Quinte Paramedic Services, were at the scene.
Personnel blocked off a section of the area for the investigation.
Investigators were also seen speaking with witnesses.
