Local municipal councils will see presentations on local healthcare and its future needs starting next month as a result of discussions between Quinte Health, senior municipal staff, and the President of Loyalist College.
Those discussions and data gathering were aimed at identifying gaps in the health system and ways in which to address them.
President of Quinte Health Stacey Daub says municipalities and Loyalist College bring different perspectives and information on the health system and uses Loyalist College as an example of what might happen as a result of collaboration.

The discussions have been ongoing for a year focusing on regional growth, labour market, and population health needs.
