Mayor Don DeGenova tells Quinte News council has struck a committee which will get together to iron out roles and responsibilities.
He added, “So the team is still a go. It was commented that the general manager John Desjardin felt that he was being left out of some of the discussions, so what we’ve done is we’ve struck a committee which will consist of our CAO Gloria Raybone, also Michelle Hardisty our community development manager, councillors Valiquette and Palmateer to get together to iron out roles and responsibilities. That was never really identified when the team was originally set up during COVID.”
No date was given for the first meeting of the new committee.
