The next time the Wellington Dukes and Trenton Golden Hawks play it will be in the OJHL post season.
The Dukes finished second in the South-East Conference and will take on the seventh place St. Michael’s Buzzers.
The fourth place Golden Hawks open at home against the Cobourg Cougars. Schedules are expected to be released on Tuesday.
This is the first of four playoff series culminating with the Buckland Cup.
The winner will advance to the Centennial Cup May 13-21 in Portage La Prairie Manitoba.
All rounds are best of seven.
Junior C playoffs begin Wednesday
In the Provincial Junior C Hockey League all six teams in the East-Tod Division will see playoff action.
The first place Napanee Raiders and second place Amherstview Jets will receive a bye in the first round.
The third place Picton Pirates will take on the sixth place Campbellford Rebels, while the Port Hope Panthers meet the Frankford Huskies. Both series are best of seven.
Dates for the Frankford-Port Hope series have been set.
