Members from 2 Military Police Squadron will be conducting the Aircraft Security Officer Course at CFB Trenton and CFD Mountain View starting next week.
Canada’s National Defense says the course is essential for maintaining the security maintenance and management skills for those taking part in Canadian Armed Forces missions.
The training will take place at both the main and north gates of 8 Wing CFB Trenton and at CFD Mountain View starting February 21 and continue until March 8.
As part of the training, members will be conducting marches with weapons in sight.
All efforts are being made to ensure disruption to the community is kept to a minimum.
