Northumberland County has a new warden.
Cramahe Township Mayor Mandy Martin was elected at Wednesday’s inaugural meeting of Northumberland County Council.
Martin is a resident of Colborne, now serving her second term as mayor of the Township of Cramahe.
Brian Ostrander, now in his second term as mayor of Brighton, was elected Deputy Warden.
Both received unanimous support.
They will each serve one year terms.
The members of the 2022—2026 Northumberland County Council include:

· Bob Crate, Mayor, Municipality of Trent Hills
· Olena Hankivsky, Mayor, Municipality of Port Hope
· Scott Jibb, Mayor, Township of Hamilton
· John Logel, Mayor, Township of Alnwick/Haldimand
· Mandy Martin, Mayor, Township of Cramahe
· Brian Ostrander, Mayor, Municipality of Brighton
