Both the Centennial Chargers and Nicholson Crusaders senior girls’ basketball teams opened up their OFSAA tournaments with big victories Thursday.
The Chargers, playing in the AA tournament in Stratford, easily defeated T.A. Blakelock of Oakville 69-20.
Nicholson downed Windsor’s Ecole Secondaire EJ Lageunesse 53-40 in their opening game of the A tournament in Walkerton.
Both teams are ranked number 2.
