Active cases of COVID-19 continue to go down in the area.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health says the number of active high-risk cases of COVID-19 across Hastings and Prince Edward Counties is 85, down from 98 last week.
Seventy-two new high-risk cases of COVID-19 have been reported since the start of the pandemic.
No new deaths are being reported.
Thee has been no change in hospitalizations from last week. Sixteen people remain in hospital with the virus. No one is in the intensive care unit.
There are five active COVID-19 outbreaks in high-risk settings, down from seven last week.
When it comes to respiratory infections, HPEPH is reporting an increase in lab-confirmed Influenza A cases.
There are six new lab confirmed cases of Influenza A.
No new cases of Influenza B are being reported.
