Active cases have dropped but the number of deaths caused by COVID-19 in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties took a significant jump over the last week.
HPE Public Health is reporting nine more deaths in its weekly report.
Seventy-seven people across the two counties have died since the start of the pandemic.
The public health dashboard shows there were 215 new high-risk cases over the last week but the active case count fell from 261 to 246.
Hospitalizations are up 10 to 31 with two people in intensive care.
There are 15 active outbreaks in high risk settings, including three at Belleville General Hospital.
