Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward-Hastings broke ground on their first build project in almost two years.
Hazzem Koudsi and Kathyrn Brown, the Executive Director of Habitat and Chair of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward-Hastings respectively, were joined by Belleville Mayor Mitch Panciuk and local builder Andy Geertsma for the ceremony.
A duplex is being built on 639 Sidney St. that will soon be offered to two families in the community.
Habitat for Humanity says it will be announcing the opening of the application period for the property on 639 Sidney St. “in the near future.”
