Quick thinking by employees averted what could have been a serious situation at a Trenton company this morning.
Quinte West fire crews were called to Quinte Waste Management around 8 a.m.
Fire Chief John Whelan tells Quinte News some debris inside the building caught fire and set off the sprinklers.
Employees used a bulldozer to push the fire outside where firefighters then extinguished it.
Whelan says the flames were shooting quite high when fire crews arrived.
No one was injured.
