There’s a chance of showers Saturday afternoon but that’s unlikely to dampen spirits at the Bay of Quinte Pride Parade.
The parade starts at noon at Empire Square and will make its way through the downtown and over to West Zwick’s Park where Pride in the Park will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The family event will feature food, music and other activities.
Saturday’s events are the highlight of a week’s worth of Pride Week events across the Bay of Quinte.
The parade was cancelled the previous two years due to the pandemic.
