The Quinte West OPP recovered a vessel from the Trent River and is requesting the public’s assistance identifying the owner.
On June 4, 2022 at approximately 4:00 p.m., the OPP Marine Unit responded to a report of an overturned vessel in the Trent River, just south of Lock 1, in Trenton. Marine officers arrived and located a 14 foot aluminum boat, overturned with no persons around.

The vessel is described as a Sears, grey, aluminum boat with an 8 horsepower Evinrude outboard motor with a tall stool toward to the stern.
