The Progressive Conservative Party will have the seat of Northumberland-Peterborough South at Queen’s Park.
Thursday evening, David Piccini was reelected to sit as Member of Provincial Parliament.
Piccini spoke to an enthusiastic audience of supporters following his win.
“Driving one person to the polls because we had the best Get Out The Vote in Eastern Ontario. We had the most IDed (identified) supporters in eastern Ontario.”
Liberal Jeff Kawzenuk finished second in the riding, with about 25% voter support, while Kim McArthur-Jackson of the NDP was third.
