It wasn’t to be for local blues singer Miss Emily.
Her album LIVE at The Isabel was one of five to be nominated for a JUNO Award in the
Blues Album of the Year category.
Colin James was selected the winner with his album Open Road.
The big winner of the night was Montreal pop singer-songwriter Charlotte Cardin.
She was named artist of the year, while her chart-topping debut “Phoenix” received pop album of the year and its track “Meaningless” was selected as single of the year.
