Quinte West OPP hope the public can help with an investigation into a convenience store robbery that was immediately followed by a hit and run collision in Trenton late Wednesday afternoon.
Police report a female left a Dundas Street West store without paying for merchandise around 5:30.
A witness to the events followed the suspect who had jumped into a pickup truck.
The witness was then hit by the truck as it left the lot, suffering significant injuries.
The suspect vehicle is similar to a 2008-2012 GMC Sierra pickup truck with quad cab.
