Northumberland County has its budget for 2022 set at $181.3 million.
According to Today’s Northumberland, council approved the budget at a recent meeting, setting the table for the new year.
Some highlights include funding for essential equipment at Campbellford Memorial and Northumberland Hills hospitals, advancements on projects at the Golden Plough Lodge and Campbellford Bridge as well as funding to increase available affordable housing.
The budget includes an increase of approximately $38 in annual property taxes for a median single family detached home.
