Update (8:20 a.m. Tuesday): The outage on Highway 2 has been removed from Elexicon Energy’s outage map indicating the power is restored.
A section of Highway 2 in the east end of Belleville has gone dark.
According to Elexicon Energy’s outage map there is an outage from Pinnacle Street to the west, O’Neill Drive to the east and north to Station Street as of 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Between 500 and 5,000 customers are affected and the time of restoration is estimated to be 8:30 a.m.
The cause of the outage has been listed as “tree contact” on the outage map.
