Just under 80,000 Ontarians remain without power after Saturday’s massive wind storm.
At the height of the storm, upwards of 490,000 were without electricity.
Hydro One says crews are working around the clock to restore power.
Locally, there are small outages throughout the Quinte region with larger ones being in Prince Edward County around Fenwood Gardens, Mountain View, and Milford. There’s also a significant area affected by power outages near Campbellford.
For many of the outages Hydro One says it’s still assessing damage and is not predicting when power will be returned.
There are no power outages in urban Belleville.
