The Trenton Golden Hawks are the top ranked Junior A hockey club in the country.
The Canadian Junior Hockey League released its Top 10 Rankings for the week ending October 17, naming the OJHL club number one.
The Golden Hawks are 7-0, with five of those wins coming on the road.
As of Sunday, they’ve played the most games without a loss in all the CJHL.
Golden Hawks coach Peter Goulet.
“Great recognition for our organization, for all the work the owners have put in over the years. You know we just gotta keep our feet on the ground, stay humble. Can’t go to our head. If we start thinking we’re good, we’re in trouble. We got to be good every night.”
The Trenton team had the best winning percentage, most goals for, number one power play, and the league leaders for goals, assists and points.
The Golden Hawks’ next action is Thursday in Caledon and their next home game is Friday at 7:30 versus Mississauga.
