Pass the Peace Pipe
Begins at Legacy 420
Help us unite at 346 York Rd. in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory at Legacy 420 on October 17th, 2021, at 10am to launch the ‘Pass the Peace Pipe’ Project started by Legacy 420 and St Fatty’s Day.
The symbolic passing of the peace pipe ceremony is a call to action to unite together, from coast to coast, to make a change for Indigenous communities, in need of support to combat the opioid addiction crisis. Our plan is to work together to create awareness of the opioid addiction crisis and assist in building addiction counselling services in the form of six holistic healing centres across the Six Nations to help recovery and rehabilitation for those who are seeking assistance in Indigenous communities in Canada.
Starting at Legacy 420 at 10am for speeches, the symbolic passing of the peace pipe ceremony and information about how we can make this project possible. We will then move to an event at the Foster Ward Community Center at 75 St Paul St, Belleville, ON from 1pm – 4pm for drinks and food, music and mingling.
“Join us to celebrate the launch of our ‘Pass the Peace Pipe’ project to find out how you can provide help and create hope for communities that are effected everyday by the opioid addiction crisis” – Tim Barnhart
Come to Legacy 420 on October 17th to begin this journey toward change for these Indigenous communities and the people who deserve an opportunity to heal.

About St Fatty’s Day
Every year, St Fatty’s Day is celebrated to honour the legalization of cannabis on October 17th, 2018. Since then, this movement has quickly gained momentum to help spread the word that ‘10-17 is the new 420.’ “Creating this trademarked brand gives us the platform to showcase the medicinal aspects of cannabis and Legacy420 is the perfect partner. They lead the way with their products, and the Pass the Peace Pipe project just solidifies that commitment,” says St Fatty’s Day creator Scott Granville.
