Belleville city hall is relaxing the rules, allowing easier access for citizens, following a year of COVID-19 restrictions.
Residents are no longer required to book an appointment to enter city hall for in-person services.
People wishing to meet with Engineering, Planning and Building officials on the second floor are still being advised to book appointments to ensure staff is on-site and not working in the field.
Those who can are still being encouraged to continue doing business online or over the phone.
The city has also indicated that Marriage Licence and Commissioner of Oath services are available to city residents only.
An appointment is not required to obtain these items, however, you are encouraged to call the Clerkâs Office at 613-968-3228 prior to arriving at City Hall to confirm you have all the required documentation.
Hours of operation at city hall will continue to be shortened, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
