The City of Belleville wants residents to have their say on a proposal to change the city’s ward boundaries from two, to four.
The idea was brought forward by Mayor Mitch Panciuk at the council meeting on May 10 and if it goes ahead, each ward would be represented by two councillors starting with the 2022 municipal election.
Community feedback and input is needed before that decision is made later this summer, so residents are being asked to fill out an online survey by August 3, or to voice their questions or concerns about the potential change to current councillors.
You can click here to give your input via the city’s online survey and click here to vote in our Quinte News poll on the issue as well.
