Four people from Quinte West are facing drug and weapons charges after OPP executed a pair of search warrants on Whites Road early Thursday morning.
Officers from Quinte West, Central Hastings, Prince Edward County and various specialty units were involved in the searches of two homes and found amounts of suspected ecstasy, cocaine, hydromorphone and oxycodone.
Investigators also found Canadian cash and a 9mm handgun and laid charges against 58-year-old Richard Casselman, 54-year-old Sharon Casselman, 20-year-old Katie Casselman and 18-year-old Tracy Theodore.
The are each charged with four counts of drug trafficking, along with one count each of careless storage of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
Police say they also charged Richard Casselman with possession of a gun or ammunition while prohibited and charged Katie Casselman with two counts of breaching probation.
Theodore was also charged with breaching a release order.
Richard and Sharon Casselman were both released with conditions and a court date on July 12, while the other two accused were held for bail hearings.
