The Tragically Hip are constantly the talk of music fans in Canada.
On Sunday evening, the band was given the Humanitarian Award at the 50th annual Juno Awards. They also performed together for the first time since their final show in Kingston August 20, 2016. It was live on the Junos with Leslie Feist doing the singing. SEE BELOW

Earlier this spring the Kingston band announced a new album Saskadelphia, with six lost songs recorded in the very early 90s. The first single of the album is “Ouch”, and the music video has recently been released.
In fact there is a local connection to the music video.

It was shot at the Eddie Hotel and Farm in Prince Edward County on Highway 33, in their cocktail lounge. The video takes place in a roadside bar on the outskirts of Saskadelphia.
Canadian icon Rick Mercer sits at the bar, while Canadian actor Jay Baruchel rides in on his bike, drinks a mysterious alcohol, which turns him into bones. Rebecca-Jo Dunham-Baruchel plays the bartender.
