Update (7 a.m.) : Highway 7 at Tiffen Road has been reopened both ways according to Ontario 411 on Twitter.
Central Hastings OPP are investigating a serious car accident Saturday evening that resulted in two deaths.
According to OPP East Region on Twitter, the accident happened at approximately 5 p.m. on Highway 7 near Marmora.
Police say a sedan crossed the median into eastbound traffic and hit a tractor trailer and that two other vehicles were hit as well.
Both occupants of the first vehicle died as a result.
Highway 7 remains closed both ways at Tiffen Road while police investigate.
