A 22-year-old Quinte West man has been charged after police say he allegedly refused to pay his cab fair early Friday morning.
OPP were called by a taxi driver around 2:15 a.m., who told them a passenger didn’t pay and police were able to track the suspect down early Friday afternoon.
Andrew Smith was charged with transportation fraud, breaching a release order and possession of methamphetamine.
He was held in custody with a court appearance on May 1.
