Firefighters from Cramahe Township, Brighton and Trent Hills were on the scene for a structure fire on the corner of Toronto Street and Church Street in Colborne Saturday afternoon.
According to the OPP at approximately 12:40 p.m., firefighters responded to the fire at the apartment building and quickly put the blaze out. No injuries have been reported.
The Ontario Fire Marshal has been called to investigate the fire which has been deemed suspicious.
This is the second serious fire in Colborne in less than a month after the Golden Rooster Restaurant in downtown Colborne burned down in late January.
