With the province once again in lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Quinte West city council passed a motion to help out the people.
At Monday’s meeting, councillors voted to waive parking fees in Quinte West until the end of Ontario’s lockdown currently scheduled for January 23.
Councillor Don Kuntze motioned to allow one free garbage bag tag as in the first lockdown but after discussion the motion was not added.
