UPDATE: OPP say that the Underwater Search and Recovery Unit will continue the search Sunday.
The Belleville and Prince Edward fire departments were on the scene for a person through the ice Saturday.
Shortly after 4 p.m. both fire departments as well as police officers were off Manley Drive for reports of a person who’d fallen through thin ice.
According to @ScanQuinte on Twitter, the initial call went out to Belleville Fire, and Prince Edward fire came in after Belleville experienced difficulties due to the thin ice.
A drone was deployed and a witness allegedly confirmed seeing a person go through the ice.
No other information is available at this time.
