New pickleball courts could be in the works for the Gosport neighborhood along Brighton’s lakeshore.
At its meeting tonight Brighton council will see a staff report recommending it apply for funding through the province’s COVID-19 Resilience Infrastructure Stream to bring the number of pickleball courts in Gosport’s Hilda Montgomery Park to four.
The COVID-19 Resilience program could provide up to $100,000 for selected projects. The pickleball project’s cost is estimated at $125,000.
