It’s been an up and down year in the local real estate business.
While sales of all properties including residential were up last month as well as year-to-date from last year, the number of total listings was down by 50% compared to 2019.
Meantime, the prices of homes in the Quinte region continue to go higher.
Last month the average price of a residential property was $488,542. That marks a 28.9% increase over that of October 2019 which was $378,956.
