It’s been a bit of an odd day weather-wise and some residents in Prince Edward County got a view of an interesting meteorological phenomenon.
A water spout was seen over the lake in Consecon, moving its way towards Wellington, between 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Staff Meteorologist Kevin Williams says waterspouts aren’t uncommon in our area this time of year.
Williams says there is a chance we could see more waterspouts in the area over the next 24 hours or so.
