The driver of a transport truck that crashed into a building in Belleville last summer will be sentenced later this week.
Paul Baumhour, who was 40 at the time of the incident, was arrested in July 2019 after the transport he was driving smashed into an apartment building on Union Street.
A woman suffered minor injuries and multiple apartments had to be evacuated.
Crown Attorney Lee Burgess tells Quinte News Baumhour pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges of criminal negligence causing bodily harm and dangerous driving.
He was originally charged with attempted murder, uttering threats, and impaired driving and breach of recognizance, but those charges were dropped as part of the plea deal.
Baumhour will be sentenced in Belleville Court on Friday.
