A Trenton man who was arrested after a car chase from Belleville into Quinte West last summer, will be sentenced later this year.
Juan Martinez-Bedoya, who was 28 at the time of the incident, recently pleaded guilty in Belleville Court to charges of dangerous driving, flight from police and uttering threats.
Bedoya was arrested following the September 18, 2019 car chase, that began after a woman in the vehicle called police and told them the driver was screaming and threatening to kill her, and ended when the suspect vehicle was pinned against a fence on Highway 2 near CFB Trenton.
Nobody else was injured in the incident, but Bedoya suffered minor injuries.
He’ll be sentenced on December 8, 2020.
