Fire destroyed a large house in the Plainfield area this morning (Thursday).
Belleville firefighters from halls 3 and 4 along with support from Mohawk and Tyendinaga fire crews responded at 1:45 this morning to 1141 Bronk Road, north of the Frink Conservation Area.
A newer brick home was fully engulfed in flames.
The fire was under control just before 4 o’clock this morning.
No injuries were reported. Fire crews remain on scene and an investigation into a cause is underway.
