A portion of Hwy. 33 is undergoing some road work.
Beginning August 18, J&P Leveque Bros. Haulage will be doing a storm sewer clean out, culvert rehabilitation, guide rail repair and paving work along the major roadway from 1.1 km east of County Road 49 to the Glenora Ferry.
Lane closures will be required and will take place Monday to Thursday from a half hour after sunrise to a half hour before sunset, Monday to Thursday.
Lane closures on Friday will be in place from a half hour after sunrise to noon, with the exception of the West Glenora Ferry dock to Lake on the Mountain Road, where there will be no lane closures on Fridays.
The project is expected to be completed this October.
